Miss Kayn, you are a mastermind at telling an epic and original story. This book was so worth the wait. You took a young woman who most would look down on for being a prostitute and made her an endearing, loving and passionate woman who felt so unworthy of love. Bear, what can I say about him, so happy he found the love he deserved in a story that did him justice. I can't imagine how difficult it was to write a story about a character with no voice, but I didn't feel like I was missing out on any of Melindas words, and obviously Bear didn't either. If anything it made me understand and appreciate what mute people go through in their daily life. For those that have trouble with the fact the main character is a prostitute, I hope you give this book a chance. That is but a sidebar subject in this book, it is primarily about two people overlooking their flaws and finding a deep love for each other. I can't wait for the next!Product details

I love Debra Kayn’s books and her talent for telling an amazing story. Debra can take what most would consider taboo subjects (outlaw/convicted felon bikers and prostitutes) and have you falling in love with them and cheering for them to have a “Happily Ever After” no matter how wicked they are!
Blow Softly is book one in a new series titled Red Light Silver Girls. We were introduced to the Silver Girls in the last book in the Moroad Series Chasing Down Changes. Through social media, Debra hinted that she would be starting a new series that was not centered on a motorcycle club. She teased and taunted us readers for months about this new series. I found myself eagerly awaiting this series and hesitate at the same time. A series about a mute prostitute finding love? How can a man fall in love with a woman who sold her body for sex several times a night? Is my world that narrow that I have a jaded opinion on the matter? I promised myself to keep an open mind, to remember who the author of this book is, to remember she has in the past, on numerous occasions, made me change my mind concerning my likes and dislikes of a character. (Yes Cam – you are the one I’m referring to! Moroad Series).
Blow Softly delivered a heartfelt story of love under extraordinary circumstances. Debra allowed the main characters in the book, Madison and Bear, to develop a friendship. Madison did not see Bear as an outlaw/convicted felon, but as a man who wanted to spend time with her. Bear looked past Madison “career choice” to see a scared and lonely young lady who wanted to learn to whistle.
The dynamic of these two characters, their mutual respect for each other as people, not as labels, is what drew me in. I found myself rooting for them, cursing those that try to come between them, to cheering for them in the end. AND YES! Trying to learn to whistle with Bear’s help! Blow Softly is not a sappy romance, nor is it a book filled with endless sex. (Yep – a book about a prostitute that is not filled with page after page erotic scenes).
Neither Bear nor Madison have not allowed themselves to feel love, thinking they are “unlovable”. Debra allowed Bear and Madison to rise above their past, to be in the present and to look forward to building a future together. Can Madison learn to whistle, learn to trust? Does she deserve a chance to love a man like any other young girl? Does Bear take a chance to let someone in? Does he lower his walls for a chance to find love?
If you are looking for a book that does not follow the everyday normal for romance, if you are looking for a book that will make you question how we as a society label people based on their handicaps, occupations or life styles, then I highly recommend you read Blow Softly by Debra Kayn. Allow yourself to keep an open mind, to leave any preconceived labels at the door. You will think yourself later.

This is the first book in Kayn's new series Red Light Silver Girls. This story is about Madison. Madison is a beautiful woman who works for the Network and will be spending 3 months at Red Light. Madison is someone who makes money selling her body but she doesn't attach her self to what she does. She doesn't enjoy it she shuts down. Madison also has a disability that makes her even more beautiful and precious.
This story is also about Bear and member of the Alpha Sexy men of Moroad MC. I was alittle disappointed Bear didn't get his book in that series... But I am no longer upset. After reading Blow Softly this was the perfect story for Bear. He is a soft teddy bear and he is perfect for Madison. He understands her, she needs a gentle touch and Bear gives her everything.
I am not going to go into detail about the book because you have to read it. Throw all your stereotypes about prositution out the window. This is a beautiful LOVE story about two people who have done the best they could at the time to survive. This about two people looking past "what you do or what I did" and look at the beauty of eachothers souls.
DEBRA KAYN hats off to you. Thank you for making me love Bear even more and giving him an amazing story.

Debra Kahn is probably the only author I read that can keep me hooked and engrossed in her story until I finish it. This is the best book I have read in 2016 by far, and since it is so rare in a romance book that the couple doesn't get intimate until the book is almost over and still keep you hooked throughout deserves respect. This love story isn't about these even though the heroine is a prostitute. This was a deep love story, what a great couple. I loved reading how Madison found her strength on her own throughout the book, and showing that just because you are a felon or have committed crimes does not mean you aren't capable of loving or being loved. Madison's muteness was also a great way to showcase that people with disabilities deal with problems most people don't realize, and I loved how Bear never treated her differently. I was blown away by the deep love and respect between them considering only one of them could talk, they found other ways to communicate and found a much deeper connection than most speaking people do. This author is in my top 5, I am eagerly looking forward to the rest of the series and it was great to catch up with moroad peeps. I would give more than 5 stars to this book if I could, excellent read.
